What wood do you use?

Most pieces are made from high-grade birch plywood, which is stiff, stable and doesn't warp. Some are available in solid oak. Most items come in satin water-based varnish, satin black paint, satin white paint, or dark stain with satin water-based varnish.

Can I order a custom height?

Yes. Speaker stands and risers can be built to a height you specify. Send your measurements through the enquiry form and we will quote before anything is made.

Are the speaker stands filled or spiked?

Our stands rely on mass and a wide base rather than sand filling. Spikes and felt pads are supplied so you can set them up on carpet or a hard floor.

Will a turntable riser stop footfall skipping?

It helps considerably. A heavy birch plywood riser with decoupling pads lifts the deck off a flexing shelf and lowers the chance of the stylus mistracking.

Dust with a dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth. Avoid solvent or abrasive cleaners. The satin varnish and paint finishes are sealed, so they need no oiling or waxing.
