About Wood Audio
Wood Audio is me, Mike Wood - making individual audio visual furniture in my small workshop in North Cornwall. Everything I make is designed and made to be the best it can be, and will last a lifetime. Quality materials + attention to detail + customer service.
Birch plywood, Oak
Materials
Most of what I make is cut from high-grade birch plywood: stable, stiff and dense, with the layered edge on show. Some pieces can be made in solid oak. Most items come in four finishes: satin water-based varnish, satin black paint, satin white paint, or dark stain with satin water-based varnish. No MDF! if you need something different, just contact me.
Small, dusty, precise
The workshop
Material is cut by power tools and/or CNC machined, then hand-finished and assembled by me in my workshop in North Cornwall UK. All items are made to order, and typically leave within three to four weeks.
